GATE 2026 Registration Open at goaps.iitg.ac.in: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has started GATE 2026 registration from August 28, 2025. Candidates can apply online through the GOAPS portal at goaps.iitg.ac.in till September 28, 2025 (without late fee) or October 9, 2025 (with late fee). Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, for M.Tech/Ph.D. admissions and PSU jobs.

GATE 2026 Registration PAY SCALE / SALARY

• Salary may also include other benefits like bonuses, allowances, etc., based on state rules.
• Basic Pay: ₹24,900–₹60,000/month (E2 grade). In-Hand Salary: ₹60,000–₹1,20,000/month (after DA, HRA, perks). CTC: ₹7–18 LPA (Maharatna: ₹12–18 LPA; Navratna/Miniratna: ₹8–14 LPA). PSUs: NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, BHEL, GAIL, HPCL, SAIL, NPCIL, Power Grid. Perks: Medical, housing, PF, pension, 3% annual increment.

How to Apply Online Registration For GATE 2026 Registration

• candidates must first go to the Visit Official Website: Go to https://gate2026.iitg.ac.in/. Click “Application Portal” or “GOAPS” to access https://goaps.iitg.ac.in/login.
• on the home page, click on the Register:
• New users: Click “New Candidate Registration.”
• Enter name, email, mobile number, and create a password.
• Verify via OTP (email/SMS). Get Enrollment ID.
• select the advertisement / post name and click on “new registration”
• enter basic details such as name, date of birth, email id, and mobile number to register
• after registration, login with the generated user id and password
• fill in the complete application form carefully – personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information
• upload recent passport size photograph, signature, and other documents as per specified format and size
• pay the application fee through available online modes (debit card / credit card / net banking / upi)
• verify all entries before final submission
• submit the application form and download / print the acknowledgement copy for future reference
